Dinner Club

Do you or your spouse like to eat or drink? Do you like a night away from home spent with new and ‘old’ friends? Do you like to try new recipes? If so, Dinner Club was created for you!

Dinner Club is a gathering of members and their spouses 4 -5 times per year where attendees are assigned a dish and a beverage to bring to a host location. The assigned dish comes with a recipe to create (or purchase) and a suggested beverage to enjoy with the meal. Each meal has a theme and a menu to match. While some members are more accomplished chefs, each menu has a range of skills.

This year we are planning on Breakfast for Dinner buffet, an Asian/Pacific theme, a Jimmy Buffett-inspired beach buffet, an Italian sit-down meal and perhaps a backyard barbecue, but we are open to suggestions and volunteers!

If you are interested in joining, please come to the Activities Fair, sign up and buy a cookbook for $10. We will arrange the dish assignments and coordinate the logistics so that all you need to do is show up with your dish, your beverage, and your date to enjoy a fun, casual evening out with great food and great people!
