I’m excited for the 2022-2023 Holliston Newcomers and Neighbors year! Welcome back to the hustle & bustle of the school year and all the fun Fall activities to come! I hope everyone feels refreshed from the summer and can enjoy a few more weeks of warmth before we have to bundle up.

HNN had a spectacular 2021-2022 year under Debbie Colburn’s leadership (actually a spectacular 3 years with Debbie leading and ensuring HNN thrived during the pandemic), and I can only hope to fill her shoes.

I’m really looking forward to HNN’s upcoming year and sharing in the club’s fun and successes with our members. HNN is important to me because (a) my Husband, kids and I met some of our closest friends through the organization’s social activities and (b) the organization’s fundraising efforts contribute to the special events (like the Summer Concert Series) and needs of our town (the Food Pantry), a town that I love!

So, please monitor the Club on Facebook, read the Newsletter, put the social activities that interest you on your calendar and pick one fundraising event to lend a hand. We have cozy activities, like book club (you do not have to finish the book to join us!) and sophisticated activities like wine tastings!

We have kid’s activities and, this year, we hope to introduce a couple’s event. Some of our fundraising events have become a tradition in town, such as Gingerbread House Decorating and Touch A Truck!

I look forward to seeing or meeting you this year, and I guarantee that your participation will make you feel a little more connected to your community, a little more supported by friends and that you’ll have a great time!
